The name

Silas Main is a name that holds a few meanings at once.

From the Latin, of the wood. Forest. Foundation. There's a biblical thread too — Silas was a companion of Saint Paul.

The centre. The artery. What runs underneath everything else.

There's a third meaning hidden in the name. We're not going to spell it out.

Look at the letters in Silas Main. Move them around. What you find is what we all are underneath the screens, the systems, the AI — the thing this work was built on top of, not to replace.
